First-meeting guidance
- Meet at a verified public spot — a fenced park, a patio café, a busy walking route.
- Daylight for the first walk. Both dogs leashed until you've both said it's fine.
- Arrive and leave separately. No home visits, no rides, not the first time.
- Share the plan with a trusted contact from the meetup planner, then check in and out.
- If anything feels off, leave. You never owe anyone an explanation.
Privacy policy, in plain words
- We store your neighborhood, not your address. No precise location is ever exposed.
- No public photographs of owners. Dogs only, always.
- Your name, contact details and messages are private and never sold.
- Identity disclosure is consent-based — you share what you want, when you want.
- Delete your data any time from account settings; it's removed, not archived.
Community standards
- Be honest about your dog: energy, size, manners and any behavioral concerns.
- Respect a no — to a walk, a message, or a second meetup.
- No solicitation, no breeding requests, no selling dogs on BONE.
- Follow park rules: leash on entry, scoop every time, supervise your dog.
- 18+ only. Accounts that misrepresent age are removed.
Moderation & reporting
- Any submitted photo with humans in it will be removed by our AI team before posting.
- Every photo and clip is screened. Owner photos are removed automatically.
- Report a profile, a piece of media or a message in two taps.
- Blocking is instant and mutual — they lose access to your profile and messages.
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Serious reports escalate immediately.
BONE is currently limited to Miami Beach, Mid Beach, North Beach, Midtown Miami, Wynwood and Downtown Miami. Meetup suggestions are restricted to verified public spots in those neighborhoods.
