Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

BONE is designed to connect single dog owners through their dogs. We want everyone — including people using screen readers, keyboards, voice control, or other assistive technologies — to be able to browse profiles, send a Wag, and take part in the community.

Standards we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We test with keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader flows, and color-contrast checks as we build and update the app.

What we do today

• Semantic HTML and ARIA labels so screen readers can identify buttons, forms, navigation, and status messages.
• Keyboard-friendly navigation: you can move through the menu, forms, cards, and dialogs using Tab, Enter, Escape, and arrow keys.
• Text alternatives for dog photos and clear labels for action buttons such as “Send a Wag,” “Save,” and “Message.”
• Color choices that meet contrast standards, without relying on color alone to convey meaning.
• Focus indicators so you can see which element is active.

Where we are still improving

• The map and some video clips are visual-first experiences. We are working on better text descriptions, transcripts, and non-visual alternatives.
• Third-party checkout and partner services may have their own accessibility features; we choose providers that share our commitment and report issues to them.

If you run into an accessibility barrier, please tell us. We take reports seriously and use them to prioritize fixes. You can reach us through the support channel in the app or by contacting Spamrisk LLC.

Review schedule

We review this statement and the app’s accessibility at least once per quarter and after any major release.
